from NY. I am very picky on who can touch and do my hair in NY, so i did my research out here for Cali. I searched on google for reviews an Wild bill was thee only salon that actually had all 5 stars, people actually gave great reviews on the salon, so i had to check out myself. The first time i made my appointment was of course through the phone and bill answered =). I pretty much told him what i needed. I tend to use the flat iron, and blow dryer a lot, i told him i need a deep deep conditioning and a regular blow dry! He knew EXACTLY what i needed. He gave me an agenda on what he we do when i go for my appointment. He also gave me a first time great deal. Which i appreciate very very much. Bill is also very reasonable, my appointment was schedule for 3:00, i called in the day before and told him i wouldn't be able to make it at 3:00, because my husband gets out of work a little later than that,and we only have one car. I arrived to my appointment about 10 minutes late, I ran to the door, apologized like three times and he had a huge smile and said you are just fine. He is honestly a sweet heart. Bill prep me for my treatment and asked if I wanted something to drink. I said no because I was full already lol, but Bill and his team mates are honestly the sweetest people on earth, they have the best information for cali, and awesome conversations! When my hair was complete; my hair honestly felt ALIVE!!! I love, love, and love it. This place gets all 5 stars! Bill is officially my trustee for my hair no one else! YOU ROCK BILL =D!!

Some stylists (artists) work very hard at their craft, and through years of practice and experience, they develop good skills. While that is true of Bill, he also happens to be the most TRULY GIFTED hair colorist I have ever encountered. And though a 'perfectionist' with your hair, he's also a very funny and easy going guy.

A MILLION Thanks to you Bill, for an OUTSTANDING & AWESOME hair cut. I've searched for yrs. trying to find (THE) person that could manage my hair, (((YOU NAILED IT)))! I'm thrilled and excited about my hair for the first time in yrs. I'm only sorry, I didn't come to you sooner, about 20 yrs. sooner. Now I know the GENIUS & MASTER of hair and will continue to sit in your chair as long as you'll have me. For those of you with curly, frizzy hair; I know myself how hard it is to find someone that can cut your hair, let alone understand curly hair. Bill truly has a passion for hair

I had my first hair appointment with Bill yesterday and was extremely pleased with the process and result that I got. I recently moved to the SD area and googled hairstylists in oceanside and came across Bill's name. He had received several fantastic reviews so I thought it would be worth a shot. When I arrived, Bill greeted me and immediately showed me his knowledge in his craft. He was able to tell me what my old stylist had done before I even mentioned anything to him. He walked me through his idea of what would be best for my style and asked for my feedback. Bill was very meticulous in his process and his passion for style showed through in my results. I was more pleased with this haircut than any other I have received in many years. I look forward to returning to Bill for my next one and many more after. Bill is very talented and will give you a great hair experience in his chair.
BEST Hairdresser
I have been going to Bill for about 6 years now and I am always excited when it is time for a haircut because I know I will always walk away looking great. He has been coloring my hair for about a year and it always turns out perfect and the color he uses stays for a very long time and has made my hair so much shinier and healthier. I owe him a lot of credit because I have almost 2 feet of hair, but he is always ready for the challenge my hair creates and it always comes out looking exactly as I would hope. I would recommend anyone to try him out because he is incredibly talented at what he does and he always goes out of his way to make sure his clients are happy when they leave the salon.
Timeless craftsmanship + state-of-the-art...
Our family has entrusted our hair to Wild Bill for many years because he proves himself every day, every cut/color/highlight, trying different things and sharing the best new techniques but never wavering from the rock-solid fundamentals of proper hair care to make sure we always look great. I appreciate how he shares tips and tricks on his core site because he cares about helping everyone look good. I'm sure there are others who do a fine job but put yourself in Bill's chair, under his care at least once and I bet you'll be a customer for life.

Wild Bill has been doing my hair for 5 years! Every time I leave the salon, I love my hair! He really takes the time to make sure your hair is just right! My color is always beautiful and I've never had so many "good hair days" in a row! ..
Bill is a hair genius!
I went in to get my hair done by Bill today for the first time, and I will not be going to ANYBODY ELSE for as long as I live in this area!! He is honestly the BEST hairdresser I have ever had. Before I went in, I was thinking that I wanted to change my hairstyle. I was about 90% sure of what I wanted, and I was going to discuss the other 10% with him when I got there. When I walked in, he was very friendly. He either remembered my name or looked it up before I came in, because I did not have to tell him what it was before he smiled and said, "Hi Sara," with a nice, friendly grin as he stuck out his hand to shake mine. When I sat down, he asked if it would be all right if he told me what he was thinking for my hair first, and I could tell him if he was wrong. I agreed, but in my head I was thinking, "He's not going to know what I want," and I prepared myself to correct him. Lo and behold, as he started to tell me what he was thinking, I was absolutely stunned. He described EXACTLY what I was thinking for my hair! He even described it better than I know I could have. By the time he was done talking, not only did I not have any corrections to make, but he also covered the 10% that I wasn't sure of, without me having to say a word. The best thing about it was, he was modest about it. He said he was pretty good at being able to tell how people like their hair, which may sound snooty, but it wasn't at all. He was very respectful of the way I like my hair, not the way he thinks my hair should look like so many other hairdressers are. He was just very good at guessing what I would like, and he was absolutely right. But he also gave me some insight about things I didn't know I would like, but I really did once he described them to me. Not only does Bill have wonderful insight about how people are going to want their hair, but he has great skill when it comes to cutting hair. He obviously takes great pride in his work. Many hairdressers rush their cuts, but he really took the time to make my hair look absolutely perfect. I felt like I had Michelangelo sculpting my hair. When he was finished, my hair looked beautiful. My hair hasn't looked that good in years. I loved it so much, I made my next appt. with him on the spot! In short, Bill has the respect to give you the hair YOU want, the knowledge to help you figure out what exactly that is, and the skills and dedication to give it to you. And that is all it takes to make a perfect hairdresser. So few people have it, but Bill does, and I am so happy I found him!!
Very personable
I googled hair salons and I found Wild Bill. When I called to make an appointment with him, he answered the phone, he was very nice. I explained what my goal was with my hair and scheduled an appointment. For sure I figured he would forget by the time my appointment rolled around. I arrived a little earlier than my appointment to look at books, he was finishing up with his client when he came to greet me. He then said Hi Kathy! and we started to discuss what I wanted, he said Oh Yeah, I remember you wanted to do this and that. I was surprised he would remembered because he had been busy all day with other clients. He gave me advice and his opinion as far as my hairstyle. We chatted during my haircut but not to were he was distracted from what he was doing, which I liked, he was focused and delivered a very nice simple haircut. I really appreciated the fact he understood I wanted my hair to grow and he tailored my hairstyle so it can grow out painlessly. I have found my new hairdresser and I'm thrilled! I am telling all my friends about him!
